Negative Reviews

Expensive for a B&B
Guests often feel that even though the place is run more like a hotel, at the end of the day it is not much more than an ordinary bed and breakfast. Whilst it is nice enough, it doesn't warrant the very expensive rates that they charge. Unless you get a good deal online, you're paying the price of a good quality hotel. If you happen to travel at a special time or bank holiday too, they'll bump the price up even more.

Rooms are small
For the price you are paying, guests expect a decent sized room. They are often disappointed when they find they are pretty small and cramped.

Poor sound insulation
The guesthouse is just off a busy road – and you can hear it. The rooms are poorly sound-proofed and the street noise can be disturbing well into the night. Guests also claim to hear guests in other rooms quite easily, not to mention a loud plumbing system.
