Le Douet Allan is a small Bed and Breakfast establishment in the Normandy countryside just east of Saint Hilaire du Harcouet on the D976. It is situated in around 3 acres of land on the D492, with ample free parking. The bedroom has views across the property and has a kingsize, double bed for your comfort with an en suite shower room and toilet. All bed linen is supplied, together with towels. Maximum occupation is 2 adults and there is no provision for an extra bed. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Breakfast is continental style, with croissants, baguette, yogurts, cake and fruit juice. Choice of tea or fresh coffee and is included in the room cost.Time of breakfast is at the choice of the guest and may be taken either inside, or on the terrace if weather is fine. Le Douet Allan is ideally situated for overnight stops from the ferry ports of Caen (Ouistreham), Cherbourg, Saint Malo and Cherbourg and is ideal for people house-hunting in Lower Normandy or Eastern Britanny. Mont Saint Michel is about 35 minutes drive and Fougeres, with its large public gardens and old chateau and Saint James and the large American Cemetery is well worth a visit.
