About The Fern Lodge

The Fern Lodge is a very small luxury lodge overlooking Friends Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. We have 5 luxury guest rooms and a great amount of indoor and outdoor amenities. All guest rooms have king-size beds with fireplaces, jacuzzis, wet bar/refrigerator, and private porches/patio with views. The rates include a multi-course breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres and wine, boat tour of Friends Lake (late spring thru early fall), chocolate truffles at turn-down, and evening s'mores at the fire. In addition, there is a sauna, outdoor hot tub, exercise area, kayaks, canoes, standup paddle boards, pristine water for swimming, outdoor fire pit, beautiful walking trails, theatre, help-yourself honor bar, and more! We are in a very rural area, but there is great dining close by. We are conveniently located for hiking, biking, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, whitewater rafting, or just taking scenic drives with magnificent forest and lake views.
