Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort & Villas (Stella Maris, Bahamas)

Guests who have stayed here love the beach. With miles and miles of soft white sand, it's the perfect place to relax and put the stresses of real life to one side. The ocean is very calm and perfect for taking a cooling dip.

The food served at the Beach House receives raving reviews from guests time after time. A variety of dishes are cooked fresh, with most guests especially enjoying the seafood options, which have been locally sourced.

Guests cannot fault the service at this hotel. Staff are friendly, helpful and keen to go over and above to ensure that their guests have an amazing vacation. Most guests were taken aback with the real personal service offered here, with many being impressed that staff remembered them by name.

Although most guests enjoyed the tranquility of their stay, a handful of them did feed back that they felt Wi-Fi and television should be available in all accommodations, not just the larger villas. That said, free Wi-Fi is available within the lobby so guests are able to stay connected.

It's worth noting that the Island is rife with small flying insects that although difficult to spot, will leave you with nasty bites on the body. It's strongly recommended that insect repellant and long sleeved/legged clothes are packed as a priority.

A handful of guests have advised that getting to the hotel from the airport is difficult, with taxis few and far between. The hotel are currently looking into what they can do to make themselves more easily accessible.
