Positive Reviews
positive:
Location near airport is a real plus.
The airport is less than two miles away, so that reduces much of the usual hassle and traveling time. The hotel provides a free shuttle so that helps even further. It's also very close to the train station, which is yet another cause for celebration.
positive:
Clean rooms and friendly staff.
No complaints about the rooms. They're pretty basic, but fulfill reasonable requirements. Staff, generally, are very friendly, helpful and efficient.
positive:
Additional facilities win on points.
Sometimes seen by hotels as irritating 'add-ons', the business center facilities are really impressive here. So, too, is the fitness center; well equipped and with free weights.
Negative Reviews
negative:
On track for a noisy stay.
Just like many other hotels, this one attracts a fair share of group bookings intent on having a good and noisy time without bothering too much about the well being of fellow guests. Also, get the wrong room near the railway track and it will soon become apparent that the trains run all night!
negative:
Lacking in business basics.
They obviously place some importance on the needs of their business guests, hence the quite impressive business center. The WiFi is an unreliable let-down and often not functioning for long periods. An inconvenience for most, this situation is a positive deterrent for commercial guests.
negative:
It's all pretty average ... and that isn't good
The hotel operates at a level which is very slightly in excess of acceptability. Slip a few notches and the complaints will roll in! Breakfast buffet items, for instance, are cold and they are liable to skip cleaning your room. The hotel receives very few complaints ... largely because there's no link to the front desk on the telephone in the room!
