Polovnik House is a charming 3 bedroom chalet located on the main square of the peaceful riverside village of Srpenica midway between Bovec & Kobarid (circa 10km to each) in the heart of the stunning Soca Valley. The house is beautifully renovated to an excellent standard combining many carefully restored original features with modern comforts and facilities (including internet & DVD), creating a welcoming atmosphere and retaining the alpine charm of the building. The house offers a large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room with log burner. Upstairs are three spacious bedrooms, one with balcony and great mountain views. In addition there are two bathrooms, kitchen storeroom and cellar room for storage of skis, etc. There is a huge range of outdoor activities such as walking and cycling possible from your doorstep as well as a wide range of river pursuits (kayak / rafting access from the village) and mountain sports in the area (skiing at Kanin just ten minutes' drive).
