Staff is Unknowledgeable and Unhelpful
Some staff members at the Summit at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino are unknowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area and are unable to answer questions. Also reported was long waits to have repairs done to rooms and to park cars, staff who don't deliver on previously requested bookings and staff who don't compensate guests accordingly when issues arise.

The Hotel Can Get Noisy and Rowdy
Guests reported that there's a lot of noise around the hotel and this noise seems to be centered around a large number of drunken, semi-clothed guests who wander around yelling and leaving a mess around the public areas. Also reported was a lack of security outside and in certain areas of the hotel and staff who don't do anything to gain control of the rowdy activities going on late into the night.

The Pool Area and Grounds are Poorly-maintained
The exterior grounds, including the pool area, could use some care. There have been reports of guests leaving beer cans and food containers around the pool and staff don't pick it up for hours or until the next day. Also reported was poorly-maintained grassy areas with lots of weeds. .
