Well Placed.

The location of the hotel is ideal, being very central to the town and the seafront and beach. Guest reported that their room and bed were enough for 6 to 8 people, which raised one or two questions!

Breakfast was found to be acceptable by guests, and some report that Wi-Fi access was available whilst another said that they walked to the library in town to get access.

Old Building.

The hotel is in an old building, with a musty atmosphere. Guests reported that the plumbing in some rooms was defective, including blocked drains, and taps that delivered only hot water, whilst in another room there was no hot water at all and no central heating.

Broken Bed.

Guests felt that the rooms were not properly cleaned, with walls and paintwork dirty: glasses and cups were not clean. Pillows and bedlinen, whilst they had been laundered, were still showing dirty marks from make-up. One of the rooms was equipped with a broken, uncomfortable bed.

It appears that this hotel is in considerable need of updating. The management of the establishment seems to be on very ad hoc lines, and does not inspire confidence in those who expect to be looked after.
