The hotel's location right in the heart of Baltimore makes it an ideal hub from which to explore everything that Baltimore has to offer such as the shopping malls, bars, restaurants, museums and sporting arenas which are all within easy walking distance or easily accessible by the Metro or bus, both of which stop just a couple of blocks from the hotel.

Staff have received praise with many of them being mentioned by name for their attention to detail, their hospitality and their willingness to fulfil requests and ensure that you enjoy your stay here. They also have a great knowledge of Baltimore and are only too happy to recommend places to eat or give advice on what there is to see and do in the city.

The breakfast offered has lots of choice and will keep you going throughout the day with a cold selection featuring yogurt, cereals, pastries and fresh fruit amongst other things along with a cooked option including the usual eggs, bacon, sausages and potatoes.

There have been many reviews mentioning the car parking charges as being too expensive and with valet parking charged extra however there is free parking available in the area just a few blocks away from the hotel.

Some previous guests have reported that the housekeeping service is poor and rooms are not cleaned everyday as you would expect. According to further reports there are also bedbugs in some rooms which left guests with bites and overall an unpleasant experience.

The rooms are described as having a 'no frills' approach whereby they have everything that you need for your stay, but there's no real extravagance or luxury to them.
