San Agustín del Callo is one of the oldest haciendas of the Ecuadorian Andes, which is located at the foot of the Cotopaxi volcano, in the years after the Conquest the hacienda served as a convent for the order of the Augustinians, where one of the obrajes of the time, in addition it was temporary lodging of the French Geodesic Mission in its passage by the Ecuador.
