Positive Reviews
positive:
No exception to the rule...
Ibis rooms seem to be remarkably consistent from one country to the next, and this one is no exception. Guests are pleased to find exactly what they've come to expect: cosy, modern rooms with all the basics and not much more: comfortable beds, hot showers, decent free wi-fi, and a good choice of channels on the tv, including a few English ones.
positive:
Apple pie for breakfast...
The breakfast buffet gets rave reviews for the quality and variety of its offerings, including good options for vegetarians and a very popular apple pie. Guests love the burgers at the hotel restaurant, too.
positive:
Not too far from the action...
The hotel is within easy walking distance to the Uprising Museum (a very popular attraction) and there is a tram stop right out front that gets guests to Old Town in less than 10 minutes. Some guests choose to walk there instead, in fine weather: it takes about 30 minutes. There's a supermarket next door and a few good restaurants in walking distance.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking is a little pricey...
Guests arriving by car have been unpleasantly surprised by the parking fee, noting it is very high by Polish standards for hotel in its category.
negative:
A little short-staffed...
Though most guests find the staff friendly, helpful, and efficient, several have noted there is generally just one team member on duty at the front desk, which sometimes results in long queues and unanswered phone calls.
negative:
What's in a name?
Some guests feel misled by the hotel's name, as it is some distance from the city's main attractions and the historic city centre. Some guests unfamiliar with the brand are unpleasantly surprised by the "basic" decor and amenities.
