Not only was this motel conveniently located a short drive from Connecticut beaches, but also it was near gas stations and eateries. The proximity of the intersection of highways I-95 and I-395 and US Route 1 made it easy to get to downtown New London as well as golf courses, shopping malls, beauty spots and casinos. Guests also appreciated being within striking distance of Boston, Massachusetts and New York with their many attractions. Drivers said the ample free parking was another plus.

The remodeled rooms won praise from guests, who were pleasantly surprised by their vibrant decor, flat-screen TVs and vinyl flooring. The rooms were frequently described as being more than suitably clean, spacious and comfy for a short stay.
