The apartment is in an excellent location. The Bairro Alto area has a good selection of shops and restaurants. There are places of interest within walking distance but if worn out from the hills of Lisbon, there is a tram stop near the door.
Guests say that the cleaning staff at these apartments do a good job. They are friendly and very accommodating, happy to come and clean at another time if it is not convenient, and with no reception staff on-site are helpful when guests need any assistance.
Staying in old apartment buildings can mean there are only stairs to reach the higher floors, but thankfully that is not a problem here. As such, this accommodation is suitable for guests who might have mobility problems.
Guests are given a code to open the front door but some guests thought that the lock was faulty. Despite putting in the correct code, and the light turning green, the mechanism will quickly lock again. It can several attempts before guests are able to enter.
As these are self-catering apartments, there are no staff other than the housekeepers on site. Some guests would prefer staff to be more easily available, for if they have any questions or any issues arise, as they do not find it easy to get assistance by telephone.
While guests appreciate that Wi-Fi is included in the cost of these apartments, and some guests say it works well, others say that the signal in their apartment is very weak and that it only works slowly most of the time.
