Clean, safe, air conditioning.
The rooms here were found to be clean, comfortable, generally modern and came with great air conditioning and a safe to keep your belongings in against Barcelona pickpockets.
positive:
Polite and helpful staff, breakfasts and tapas.
Guests considered the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful, polite and efficient — a few said impersonal — while the breakfasts were thought to be tasty, and the restaurant’s fantastic tapas creations even more so.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Small rooms, hard beds, renovations.
A small number of those who stayed at Park Hotel Barcelona found the beds a little hard for their liking, and some rooms and bathrooms were thought to be small, but still adequate. Guests occasionally said their rooms were dated, and some renovations and lift replacements were underway in August 2015, so such issues may soon be dealt with.
negative:
Noise insulation not the best.
The noise insulation was not thought to be very good by a few guests, who said they could hear other guests in the hallways or adjacent rooms.
negative:
No kettles in room.
Those looking to make a cup of tea or coffee in their room may be out of luck — people reported that the rooms lack a kettle.
