Positive Reviews
positive:
Secluded beach for peace and quiet
In contrast to other beaches in Jamaica, Couples Sans Souci is located on a quiet, secluded cove; providing guests with complete peace and relaxation. The beach is private, so guests need not worry about people hawking their wares, and the hotel grounds are equally as beautiful- with ponds, plants and waterfalls throughout.
positive:
Full all-inclusive
The hotel is a complete all-inclusive; virtually everything is included in the cost. There are numerous restaurants and bars for guests to choose to enjoy and activities such as tennis, golf and numerous fitness classes are all available.
positive:
Genuine, friendly staff
For most guests, bar the scenery, the staff are the best thing about the hotel. Friendly and genuine, they have a smile for all- regardless of whether you've been married for 40 years, or a matter of days. The majority of guests are repeat visitors for that very reason.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Communication difficulties
While some guests may relish the opportunity to escape the daily grind, others may find the communication blackout difficult. The Wi-Fi can be temperamental and phone signal is equally unpredictable so keeping in touch with the outside world can be a challenge.
negative:
Not the best spot for the less-mobile
The buildings around the resort adopt a colonial-style, and there are plenty of stairs all around the hotel. Those with mobility issues may well find it difficult to navigate their way from their room to common areas.
negative:
Some find beds uncomfortable
Several guests have commented upon the beds in suites, suggesting that they are a little hard and uncomfortable. This may, however, just come down to personal choice, as most guests mention nothing at all.
