Notwithstanding that the Hilton Surfers Paradise is in the heart of the entertainment precinct and surrounded by vibrant nightlife, a number of guest reviewers mentioned that the hotel could invest in soundproofing to ensure that the noise from the clubs and bars does not carry into the rooms to disturb sleeping guests.

A number of traveler reviews noted that in times of high traffic and at peak times, that there did not seem to be enough elevators to cope with the large volume of people moving through the hotel. Some guests were dissatisfies with the 10 to 15 minute wait experienced trying to exit the hotel during these peak times.
