The hotel is nestled in the picturesque Lancashire countryside and surrounded by 54 acres of private grounds providing a very tranquil and scenic backdrop. There are no noisy bars or clubs in the vicinity so if you are looking for a relaxing and laid-back countryside getaway then you'll certainly be in your element.

Guests who visited the on-site spa said that their experience was thoroughly enjoyable and were complimentary about the tasteful decor as well as the overall hygiene levels. Those who had treatments said that their therapists were skilful and knowledgeable and would wholeheartedly recommend them. The rooms were described as being of ample size with equally spacious en-suites. Guests complimented the tasteful decor as well as the quality furniture and upholstery. Despite the age of the building, many were pleased to find all the necessary mod-cons including under-floor heating and power showers.
