If you're looking to visit Philadelphia but save a few bucks on meals or simply stay in a spacious, friendly place, the Hotel Windsor Suites is ideal. With comfortably sized rooms and a full spread of kitchen amenities, you'll feel as though you never left home.
positive:
Amazing rooftop views
From late spring to early fall, not only can you enjoy a spectacular view of the skyline from the roof, but you'll be able to take a refreshing dip as well. The rest of the year, you'll still be able to enjoy the city from above via the sundeck.
positive:
Immediate access to downtown Philly
Some hotels say they're right in downtown, but once you arrive, you find out they're actually a ways from it. Here, on the other hand, you'll be within walking distance from loads of fun shopping, fine dining, and amazing sites like the Franklin Institute Science Museum and the Comcast building.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No breakfast service
Although the hotel is adjacent to several restaurants, including an Irish Pub and Grill and a pan-Asian restaurant, the hotel doesn't offer its guests an internal food service—beyond room service. Rooms do come with equipped kitchens, though, so you can make your own breakfast if you so desire.
negative:
Parking can be a hassle
One of the common problems with downtown hotels is a lack of parking. While the Hotel Windsor Suites does have an onsite parking facility, storing your car there won't be cheap. You may wish to consider touring the city on foot or pricing out public lots.
negative:
Thin walls
Despite its prime location and wealth of amenities, some guests thought the hotel could be a little on the noisy side due to the thin walls. Between general city din, other guests coming and going, and traffic, you may desire some sound dampening equipment.
